old friends

we've known ben and jess for most of our married life...they are very dear friends. remarkably, they have come out to boulder four times in the five years we have lived here (especially remarkable because they have 2 small children - we missed you this time, olivia!!) as jess said upon leaving, "the goal of loving much, talking deep and laughing hard (and eating well!!) was achieved." it is always a gift to be with our dear friends. thanks for knowing us and loving us - particularly in our not-so-together places.
