kate at 6 1/2 weeks

"park please"

lucy asks to go to the park every day. here we are on a warm, but very windy winter afternoon at one of the parks near our house.

the zoo!

we got to enjoy the denver zoo on another beautiful day - it was 75 degrees! i couldn't resist all the pictures of lucy in her striped outfit. the giraffes were my favorite this time. we ended the night with a trip to the new vine street pub with scott's buddy from wheaton, greg, and his two boys, miles and eli. so fun!

it's SO nice outside

some friends handed down this great double jogger to us the week that kate was born. kate is too small to ride in it, but we had to take it for a little spin in the driveway last night before our walk with our two single strollers. we're looking forward to many "double stroller walks" this summer. in the meantime, while we are celebrating obama's inauguration, we are enjoying some amazing weather! it is supposed to be 68 today and 71 tommorrow. the front door and the storm door are propped wide open to let the sunshine in! love it!
