we have a family weekend coming up to celebrate lucy's baptism - i am sure there will be LOTS of photo opps!

ketchup

i have always been a ketchup fan, but i never thought i would actually feel grateful for it...lucy's one year check-up revealed that she needs to eat more - and ketchup has this wonderful way of making food more fun to eat - especially when she can dip it herself!

lucy turned one on monday! papa, lovey and annie were here to celebrate the big day. here is lucy in her new garden house - complete with ringing door bell and cell phone!!!

the way home

we had 24 hours between leaving the beach and catching our flight back to colorado. it was such a treat to see my aunt and uncle and seven cousins (who were all home!) as well as out dear friends from seminary, the lins family, who put us up for the night, gave scott a chance to surf and lucy a tour of the zoo - and then we even got to see uncle ben teague during our atlanta layover. very fun.
