stylin'
lucy's first day in sunglasses and jeans! (i can't keep from laughing when i see her in these sunglasses!) it was only a matter of minutes before the sunglasses became a teething toy on our walk...and here she is in her jeans riding her new elephant rocker - a gift from the zorgdragers. so fun! and just for kicks, a picture of scott in the new shades.

steamboat springs
here we are making memories with our dear friends reuben, rachel, kaatje and brody zylstra...we spent a couple of days together enjoying the changing leaves, cooking, relaxing, watching baseball, and hugging and kissing one another's kids! we are so grateful for these guys and look forward to raising our families together!

friendship
we are so grateful for the people in our life...for the ways you remind us of who God is and how He is at work in our midst...He so generously loves us through you
"Friendship is acting out God's love for people in tangible ways. We
were made to represent the love of God in each other's lives, so that
each person we walk through life with has a more profound sense of God's love for them. Friendship is an opportunity to act on God's behalf in the lives of the people that we're close to, reminding each other who
God is. When we do the hard, intimate work of friendship, we bring a
little more of the divine into daily life. We get to remind one another
about the bigger, more beautiful picture that we can't always see from
where we are."
