starving in somalia
as i post an enormous amount of pictures of our three strong and healthy kids enjoying their lush surroundings, i am troubled knowing that thousands of children (and adults) are dying for lack of food and water on the other side of the world...so i am acknowledging the deep tension in my soul...and my sadness and sense of hopelessness about the famine...and claiming the promise that every single life is precious and known by our Lord.

thanks to some generous friends who loaned us their condo for a few days, we enjoyed a family getaway in the mountains! we drove home through grand lake and rocky mountain national park...colorado is such a beautiful place!!!
