we turned around for five seconds during dinner...
where does she come up with this stuff?

finally!

many times a day lucy requests to hold a bug in her hand. today we found a dead beetle in her watering can which meant she was actually able to hold a bug for quite a while...it didn't make it very long before the wings were torn off and the body pulled into many parts.
too many bug hugs...

more annie

making dinner (she has a sizable piece of raw bok choy in her mouth in this first picture) and seeing herself on camera...two things lucy loves to do. especially if annie is here! she woke up every day this week saying, "annie, annie, annie!"

annie is here for her fall break. lucy is showing her our family pumpkins, one for each of us, including the baby who is represented by the little green (not quite ripe) pumpkin. :)

we went to another great local farm to see animals, play in the hay maze and cut our own pumpkins from the field. what a wonderful colorado adventure.
