summertime in boulder

we spent a few hours in boulder today. we found beets and fingerling potatoes at the farmers market, listened to a couple bands at the charity event put on by 8 high school students raising money for clean drinking water in in africa, introduced lucy and grandma lovey to mountain sun, and just enjoyed the beautiful boulder sunshine!

leg warmers

cameran sent these gucci leg warmers from boston...i think she wants to make sure lucy is a hip chic!

scott has had a very full week on the cu-boulder campus, but he seems to find time everyday to wear lucy around the house when he gets home! (notice the drool "spot" on her bib..she has recently started making saliva...rice cereal, here we come!)

lovey's love

grandma lovey is here for two weeks to help us as we transition back to work...lucy is loving it and it has been a great gift to us!!! not only is my mom super sweet with lucy, she is also a physical therapist and is great with lucy as she learns to roll over, strengthen her core, reach across her body, etc. it is very fun to see the two of them interact.

john and mollie got married on saturday - it was a great celebration! auntie annie was the most beautiful bridesmaid, papa and lovey were all smiles at the rehearsal, lucy and scott were attached to one another for the whole reception, and we finally got a photo of the three of us!

boyfriend/girlfriend

this was quite possibly the cutest thing ever!!! this is lucy's buddy, brody. (brody was due 13 days before lucy but he came 3 weeks early and lucy came 1 week late. their birthdays are 5 weeks apart, but they seem much closer in age.) you can see their progression of buddy-ness (completely unaided by their moms) in the photos. we got them on video too...i will try to figure out how to upload the video as well - priceless!
